V’erdant is an urban conceptual project set in the Werribee market garden sector which explores the potential of integrating housing and food production as one.

The core approach is based on application of sacred geometry structures which provide formulas to allocate space for rotational fruit and vegetable crops, residential housing development, public spaces, mobility and even larger scale urban growth.

This formula is reflective of the balance of food types required for healthy dietary requirements of an average person and scaled to meet the demands of the neighbourhood population.

The intended outcome is a healthy and more aware lifestyle which reconnects residents with the production, practices, seasonality and acquisition of fresh, low carbon footprint, locally grown foods.
